As many as 170 residents living in RW 10 Kampung Sumur, Klender Urban Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta have undergone COVID-19 rapid tests held by the Duren Sawit Sub-district Puskesmas that cooperates with Suara Peduli Foundation. 

If it is reactive, we will proceed to the swab test in puskesmas

Duren Sawit Sub-district Puskesmas Head Rita Wedya Astuti said Kampung Sumur area was categorized in yellow zone. Nevertheless, rapid tests were very important considering most residents work as scavengers who are always mobile every day and interact with many people.

"We'll know the results in the afternoon. If it is reactive, we will proceed to the swab test in puskesmas," she expressed, Tuesday (8/4).

In this rapid test service, her side conducted an integration screening or detecting other viruses, thus there were also other health check up such as non-communicable diseases, HIV to Hepatitis C.

Zainal Abidin (62), one of participants admitted that he was helpful with this free service.

"Of course I don't need to come to the puskesmas, but the officers directly visit us and it is for free," he stated.
