East Jakarta Satpol PP Imposed Sanctions on 12.379 PSBB Violators

East Jakarta Satpol PP imposed sanctions on 12.379 people who violated Transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations from July 22 to August 11 in 10 sub-districts.

We hope those sanctions can give deterrent effect on violators

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budi Novian conveyed, PSBB operations was carried out in the morning and afternoon by involving personnel from Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub), PPKUKM Sub-agency, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, local urban village and sub-districts and TNI/Police.

"As the result, we have given administrative sanction to 758 violators, social work sanction to 11,526 violators, and written warnings to 95 violators," he mentioned, Friday (8/14).

Thousand Islands Regency Applies New Social Sanctions for PSBB Violators

From administrative fines his side collected Rp 113.2 million and all fund has been sent to regional treasury. In the future, his side will continue to monitor and impose sanctions on the PSBB violators.

"We hope those sanctions can give deterrent effect on violators and increase people's awareness about the importance of complying with health protocols," he asserted.
