PT. MRT Jakarta Appreciates Special Edition Banknote Launching

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) appreciated Bank Indonesia (BI) for launching  special edition banknote with face value of Rp 75,000 that showed Ratangga train as one of the design elements to commemorate Indonesia's 75th Independence Day.

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) President Director, William Sabandar conveyed, his party appreciated Finance Ministry and BI for showing Ratangga and underground tunnels image in the Indonesia Independence Day special edition banknote.

"MRT Jakarta is a symbol of infrastructure achievement in national development towards the future of advanced Indonesia," he conveyed, Monday (8/17).

According to him, special edition banknote launching that featured Ratangga and MRT underground tunnel would encourage PT. MRT Jakarta in giving the best service for the country.

"Based on information from BI, public can get the Indonesia's 75th Independence Day special edition banknote by exchanging money with nominal value of Rp 75,000," he informed.

Before exchanging money, people must book a schedule and set the location for money exchange service via Pintar app at BI official website at  https://pintar.bi.go.id/.

In addition, each KTP can only exchange for one special edition banknote with face value of Rp 75,000.

"This banknote represents the gratitude for the independence with Indonesia's achivements, especially in infrastructure sector, through image of Trans Java toll road, Papua Youtefa Bridge, and Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)," he closed.
