Commission D Legislator Holds Recess in Panggang Island

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission D Legislator, Neneng Hasanah had a discussion with community leaders, local residents, SKPD and UKPD, while holding recess in Panggang Island, North Thousand Islands, on Tuesday (8/25).

Hopefully things suggested by residents can be followed up through council meeting

During her first recess in Thousand Islands, she wanted to hear firsthand the aspirations from residents related to public service and regional development, such as availability of clean water, inter-island transportation, waste management, and port infrastructure repair.

"Residents want the existing services to be optimized. Later, we will discuss it further with the executive," she said.

Thousand Islands Assistant for Economy and Development (Asekbang), Iwan P. Samosir conveyed his gratitude for legislators who had chosen Thousand Islands for recess location thus residents' aspiration could be heard.

"Hopefully things suggested by residents can be followed up through council meeting," he closed.
