Again, Mud in Ciliwung River Dredged

East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency today is returning to dredge mud in the Ciliwung River.

It has been ongoing since early July and is targeted to be complete by the end of this year

"It has been ongoing since early July and is targeted to be complete by the end of this year," expressed Puryanto, Section Head of East Jakarta SDA Sub-agency, Friday (8/28).

He explained dredging carried out at least 5.3 km was from Tong Tek Kampung Pulo Bridge until bridge of Jalan KH Abdullah Syafii in Kampung Melayu.

In the field, his side had deployed four heavy equipments type amphibian equipment and one unit of long arm.

"This work has touched 400 meters and we will finish it soon," he stressed.
