Sunter Selatan Lake Area is Routinely Sterilized with Disinfectant

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency conducted disinfectant spraying in Sunter Selatan Lake area, Tanjung Priok, Friday (8/28) night.

We are routinely sterilizing the area at night after it is closed to public

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Rahmat Kristantio mentioned, disinfectant spraying has become a routine schedule which carried out at night in Sunter Selatan Lake area.

"We are routinely sterilizing the area at night after it is closed to public. It is also done in accordance with directions from mayor and agency head," he said, Saturday (8/29).

East Jakarta Gulkarmat has Carried Out Disinfectant Spraying in 5,006 Locations

According to him, disinfectant spraying was carried out in areas around the lake, starting from Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan to Jalan Danau Permai Timur. For this spraying, his side used chlorine and water.

"We usually deploy 1 firetruck and 5 personnel for disinfectant spraying," he conveyed.
