JakWIFI Installed in 458 Points in East Jakarta

East Jakarta Kominfotik Sub-agency's Communication Network Section Head, Agung Andhika conveyed, JakWIFI installation was conducted through collaboration between Jakarta Government and Telecommunication Network Providers Association (APJATEL) and PT. Bali Towerindo Sentra.

"This free internet access for all (JakWIFI) can be used at schools, urban village offices, RPTRAs, and other public spaces," he explained, Saturday (8/29).

One of the locations where JakWIFI installed is at RT 07/08 Cipinang Besar Utara, Jatinegara. One of its purpose is to facilitate students during distance learning.

JakWIFI is Now Available at RW 01 and 02 Galur Urban Village

Furthermore, his side also installed JakWIFI at 3 schools, namely SDN Penggilingan 01, SMPN 49 Kramat Jati and SMKN 51 Bambu Apus, Cipayung.

"Hopefully this free internet network from Jakarta Government can be used to help teachers to teach their students online," he mentioned.
