93 PSBB Violators Netted During Mask Operation in Menteng

During Mask Operation (Optibmask) carried out in Menteng Sub-district, Central Jakarta, joint personnel imposed social sanctions on 93 PSBB violators who didn't wear mask.

Menteng Sub-district Head, Edi Suryaman mentioned, operation was carried out on Jalan Latuharhary and Jalan Sabang.

"Government has instructed residents to always wear mask during the pandemic. But they ignore it," he asserted, Wednesday (9/2).

Those 93 violators received social sanctions in form of cleaning public facilities around the locations for 20 minutes. This monitoring was carried out by 14 joint personnel from Menteng Sub-district at 8 AM - 10:30 AM.

"We always encourage people to wear mask, implement 3M protocols in their daily life. Wearing mask can prevent us from being exposed to COVID-19," he mentioned.
