Central Jakarta Prepares Seven Premium Locations for SMEs

They are special, they also occupy special locations

The Central Jakarta administration monitors seven points that will be used as Premium locations for small and medium enterprises (SME). This point is on the main routes of the Central Jakarta area.

Central Jakarta Economic and Development Assistant Bakwan Ferizan Ginting conducted joint monitoring with other related departments.

"This is done to set the points that will be used as trading places on the side of the main line. We facilitate for that, we set where the appropriate points are," he expressed when being confirmed, Tuesday (9/8).

The premium location points reviewed included Jalan Seni, Lapangan Banteng, Jalan Pamekasan, Taman Sumenep, FX Sudirman, Jalan Margono and in front of the Grand Hyatt.

In the meantime, Central Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency Head Bangun Richard explained location measurements for traders were targeted to be completed within this week.

As for the SMEs placement was set from the BUMD curation team and the PPKUKM Agency. He assessed, they were also different compared to coached MSMEs and street vendors (PKL).

"They are special, they also occupy special locations," he expressed.

Central Jakarta Bina arga Sub-agency Head Rakim ensured that the pedestrian path will n ot disturbed by the presence of traders on the edge of the main path.

"Don't worry we remain do monitoring at the location. Certainly don't get in the way of other pedestrians," he stated.
