July- September Period, Sanctions Given to 22,921 PSBB Violators in East Jakarta

From July 22 to September 2, social sanction and administrative fines were imposed on total 22,291 PSBB violators netted in East Jakarta.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budi Novian mentioned, most of the violators were netted because they didn't wear mask during the mask operation held in traditional markets, residential areas, and other public spaces in 10 sub-districts.

"We give them social sanction, administrative fines, and written warning," he mentioned, Thursday (9/10).

In detail, social sanction was given to 21,637 violators, administrative fines to 1,179 violators, and written warnings to 105 violators.

According to him, PSBB monitoring was carried out to follow up Jakarta Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 79/2020 on the Implementation of Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols as an Effort to Prevent and Control COVID-19.

"We will continue to intensify the monitoring," he mentioned.
