MRT Users, Here are Several Adjustments on MRT Jakarta Operation During PSBB

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) fully supports the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) that has been implemented since Monday (9/14) by Jakarta Government.

Related to PSBB implementation, MRT Jakarta has made number of adjustments to its operational services, from transport capacity to operational hours.
MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head, Muhamad Kamaludin mentioned, his side has set 60 passengers for the maximum capacity per train car. While its operational hour on September 14-16 period starting from 5 AM to 10 PM with interval of departure or headway on weekdays is 5 minutes during rush hours (7 AM-9 AM and 5 PM-7 PM) and 10 minutes outside rush hours, then headway 10 minutes on weekend.

On the third period from September 21 until the time to be determined later, the operational hours start from 5 PM to 7 PM with headway 10 minutes on both weekdays and weekend.
"Based on Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Decree No. 156/2020 on Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Transportation Sector, MRT Jakarta will make number of adjustments to its operational services ranging from transport capacity to operational hours," he said.
He added that his side will implement health protocols as usual, such as checking body temperature, requiring MRT passengers to wear mask and educate them to maintain physical distancing, wash their hands often, and not speak in one or two directions on the train or station platform area.
"Routinely, we also clean and disinfect all Ratangga trains and station facilities to make MRT users feel safe and comfortable," he conveyed.
