Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Agency ensured most of the mobile pumps and stationer pumps in Jakarta are ready to use to overcome flood and inundation ahead of rainy season.

Jakarta SDA Agency Head, Juaini Yusuf stated, his side continued to check and ensure routine maintenance on 487 stationer pumps in 178 locations thus it can operate optimally in overcoming flood. Moreover, his side also prepared 133 mobile pumps as a backup.
"Recently we are preparing the pumps and some of them are under routine maintenance," he explained, Tuesday (9/22).
SDA Dredges 75 Reservoirs and 13 Major Rivers in JakartaHe instructed pump house officers to be on standby 24 hours to handle any possibilities that occur on the field.
"We always control the readiness of pumps and our personnel on the field. In facing rainy season, we need to ensure our pump house officers are always on standby," he asserted.
