600 Jakpreneurs Under PPAPP Agency Participate in Online Bazaar

Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Agency through its sub-agencies in five municipalities and one regency holds online bazaar via Instagram.  

We hope it can help them run their business

Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head, Tuty Kusumawati mentioned 600 coached UKMs or Jakpreneurs in culinary, fashion, and handicraft were participated in this online bazaar from September 18 to September 28, 2020.

"This bazaar is divided in five municipalities and one regency of Thousand Islands. It is up to each regions to display their best products," she conveyed, Wednesday (9/23).

She explained that COVID-19 pandemic gave a great impact on micro, small, and medium enterprises, especially in product marketing. "Not to mention the enactment of PSBB that certainly has a major impact on the opportunity for consumers to shop directly. In response to this situation, we hold online bazaar," she added.

According to her, online bazaar could help Jakpreneurs to get a wider market and more efficient in time, effort, and cost.

"We hope it can help them run their business. Moreover, this bazaar can make their products more popular and increase their income," she said.

Based on schedule, Jakarta PPAPP holds online bazaar in Central Jakarta on September 18, North Jakarta on September 21-23, West Jakarta on September 25-26, South Jakarta on September 25-27, East Jakarta on September 23-25, and Thousand Islands on September 28, 2020.
