Regent Appreciates Collaboration in Holding Free Rapid Test for Residents

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi appreciated collaborative work between health division from a political party with North Thousand Islands Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas) in conducting free rapid test for residents in Kelapa Island and Harapan Island Urban Villages.

Everyone can participate to assist government in overcoming COVID-19 pandemic

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi conveyed, this rapid test was very useful to anticipate COVID-19 transmission in those two urban villages.

"Anticipation and prevention is a shared responsibility. Everyone can participate to assist government in overcoming COVID-19 pandemic," he assessed, Wednesday (9/30).

121,911 People in South Jakarta Undergo Rapid and Swab Tests

He expected similar activity could be held in other urban villages in Thousand Islands.

"It would be better if free rapid test can be carried out in all urban villages," he added.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission D Legislator, Muhammad Idris stated, as many as 1,439 residents from two urban villages were targeted to take rapid test on September 29-30.

"We hold rapid test door-to-door to avoid crowd and follow the standard health protocols," he said.
