Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi mentioned, currently the transportation access to and from Thousand Islands, especially for tourists and people outside Thousand Islands, are still limited.
"Restrictions for accessing the islands are carried out by limiting ship departure schedules, tightening health protocols, limiting number of passengers, and imposing sanctions," he asserted, Tuesday (9/29).

with seating capacity up to 50%.Meanwhile, for chartered boats that may operate every day are limited to maximum 50% seating capacity and required the passengers to have non-reactive rapid test result that is still valid maximum three days before the departure.
"All passengers who want to go to Thousand Islands must show their rapid test results at check points in departure ports," he conveyed.
During the coordination meeting with related agencies and North Jakarta Government, it had previously agreed that all parties had to carry out joint monitoring regarding the extension period of PSBB.
"We hope by tightening the access to Thousand Islands during the extension period of PSBB, we can prevent COVID-19 transmission optimally," he stated.
