Thousand Islands Satpol PP held Mask Operation in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district. As many as 6 people were netted because not wearing mask in public areas.

They are given sanctions according to applicable regulations

Thousand Islands Satpol PP Head, Rahmat Lubis conveyed, his side involved regional apparatus organization (OPD) and related institutions in this Mask Operation.

"There are 6 people who don't comply with health protocols for preventing COVID-19 transmission. They are given sanctions according to applicable regulations," he mentioned, Thursday (10/8).

One violator chose to do social sanction while the others chose to pay fines.

"The collected sanctions from this operation will be transferred to regional treasury. We will take a firm action against health protocols violators by imposing sanctions to give deterrent effect," he stated.
