North Jakarta's Tax Realization Has Exceeded the Target

Tax realization until this afternoon has touched Rp 1.785 trillion

Since January 2020 until now, Jakarta has managed to absorb tax revenue by Rp 1,785,534,752,276 from urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2). The amount has exceeded this year's target by Rp 1,740,389,000,000.

North Jakarta Regional Revenue Sub-agency Head Umiyati said the target results were from collaboration efforts with the ranks of sub-district and urban village.

"Tax realization until this afternoon has touched Rp 1.785 trillion," she expressed, Tuesday (10/13).

Her party would continue to increase the realization of PBB-P2 until the end of this year. The city administration was currently providing a relaxation policy for PBB-P2 repayment in accordance with the Bapenda Head's Decree number 2251/2020 on the Abolition of Administrative Sanctions for P2-PBB.

That meant, there was no administrative sanction and could be paid in stages until the end of this year. Submission of this tax payment application might be accessible via the https://pajakonline.jakarta.go.id page, starting today to Saturday (10/31).

"Its payment can be done in three installments from October 1 to December 15," he stated.

He explained, technically, the first phase of taxes was paid in the amount of one third of the total PBB-P2 and no later than Saturday (10/31). While the second stage, the tax was paid half of the remaining tax principal and no later than Monday (11/30) and the third stage the payment of the remaining tax was paid the maximum on Tuesday (12/15).

"This program is a relaxation for the applicant thus can pay off the tax in installments for three payments," he stated.
