Hybrid Grass Tested to Be Installed on JIS Training Ground

Hybrid grass installation was tested on Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) training ground.

Today, two JIS training grounds have been installed with international standard hybrid grass

PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Communication Manager, Arnold Kindangen stated, grass installation will be carried out in stages, starting from leveling the planting media, compaction the planting media, and sowing the natural grass. Next, spreading synthetic grass, top dressing, and waiting for growing period.

"One training ground requires 19 rolls of synthetic grass. Each roll has size of 109x3.9 meters," he informed, Saturday (10/24).

Here is the Reason Why JIS Uses Hybrid Grass

Until the 59th week, JIS construction has reached 31.89 percent. JIS construction also had an economic impact because it involved around 1,600 workers.

"Today, two JIS training grounds have been installed with international standard hybrid grass. It is targeted to finish in December," he added.

In order to achieve this target, JIS project applies digital Building Information Modelling (BIM) for real-time monitoring from the planning, execution, to maintenance stages. In addition, this system also helps his side to achive the target and control efficiency in costs.

"We hope Jakarta International Stadium construction can inspire many people to build with a sustainability orientation, build a healthy ecosystem, and contribute in supporting the economy," he stated.
