Here are Ancol's Preparations Ahead of Long Holiday This Weekend

Welcoming a long holiday on this weekend, PT. Taman Impian Jaya Ancol has prepared rides and facilities, as well as various policies and facilities to support health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

PT. Taman Impian Jaya Ancol President Director, Teuku Sahir Syahali conveyed, even though Ancol has been opened to public, there are many regulations that should be considered and obeyed by Ancol visitors.

"Children under 9 years old and elderly over 60 years old are only allowed to enter beach and green open space of Allianz Ecopark for exercising. Although visitors are allowed to swim on the beach, they must maintain distance at least 1 meter from the others," he said, Tuesday (10/27).

Entering Transitional PSBB, Ancol Reopens to Public

His side also deployed more COVID-19 Protocol Task Force personnel to monitor and educate visitors regarding 3M health protocols implementation, namely wearing mask, maintaining distance, and washing hands with running water and soap.

This education was included in SSBB slogan, 'Senang Selamat Bareng-Bareng' (Happy and Safe Together). He expected all visitors to comply with applicable health protocols regulations. If there is any violation, his side will give sanction to the violators.

"In addition to increase number of Ancol COVID-19 Task Force personnel, we also limit number of visitors up to 25 percent of maximum occupancy in Ancol area. For resorts and restaurants, customers are limited up tp 50 percent of normal occupancy," he informed.

According to him, visitors can access East Gate and Carnaval during their visit. Ancol Gate operates from 6 AM - 9 PM. While recreational units in Ancol, namely Dunia Fantasi operates at 10 AM - 5 PM, while Ocean Dream Samudra and Seaworld Ancol operate at 10 AM - 4:30 PM .
