West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency builds stilling basin on Jalan Kedoya Raya to anticipate inundation on Jalan Green Garden, Kedoya Utara, Kebon Jeruk.

We expect stilling basin can drain water to Pisang River to avoid inundation in Green Garden

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti Suryandari conveyed, stilling basin which is built next t o gas station (SPBU) has width of 2 meters, height of 3 meters and length of 40 meters.

"We expect stilling basin can drain water to Pisang River to avoid inundation in Green Garden," she said, Monday (11/2).

Currently, she continued, her side is currently building the stilling basin. This project is targeeted to finish in mid November.

Not only building stilling basin, but her side also normalize channel in Green Garden Housing Block A14, RT 012/05. Previously this channel was 50 centimeters wide and 30 centimeters deep, but now it is enlarged into width 150 centimeters and width 1 meter.

"We build stilling basin and enlarge the channel to overcome inundation in Green Garden," she mentioned.
