Long Weekend Holiday, 39 PSBB Violators Netted in South Jakarta

We're doing this to raise public awareness to always wear masks in order to break the chain of spreading COVID-19

The South Jakarta Satpol PP has noted that as many as 39 people have been netted during October 28-November 1 after violating the transitional PSBB rules.

According to Ujang Harmawan, Head of South Jakarta Satpol PP, the operation was intensified in 10 sub-district areas during long weekend holiday.

"We're doing this to raise public awareness to always wear masks in order to break the chain of spreading COVID-19," he expressed, Monday (11/2).

Of the 39 violators, 5 were netted on October 28, 3 were netted on October 29, 13 were netted on October 30, 3 were netted on October 13 and 15 were netted on November 1.

"From that number, 33 are subject to social work sanctions and administrative fines," he stated.
