Fire Prevention Socialization Given to Residents in 302 Locations in East Jakarta

In October 2020, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has carried out fire handling and prevention socialization in 302 locations.

We hope it can minimize fire cases and COVID-19 transmission in our region

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Muchtar Zakaria mentioned, his side also held 3M socialization (wearing mask, washing hands, and maintaining distance).

His side held fire handling and prevention and 3M socialization every day in different locations.

East Jakarta Has Conducted Fire Socialization in 46 Locations

"We hope it can minimize fire cases and COVID-19 transmission in our region," he asserted, Tuesday (11/3).

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Prevention Section Head, Edi Parwoko conveyed, his side deployed 544 motorcycles and 816 personnel to hold socialization at 9 AM and 4 PM - 5 PM.

"Socialization is carried out in 16 settlements and 286 worship places," he added.

During the pandemic, his side didn't use gas stove and other kitchen utensils during the fire handling and prevention socialization.

"We use loudspeakers at worship places and our vehicles to socialize people about fire handling and prevention as well as 3M campaign," he said.
