South Jakarta Dukcapil Distributes 44 E-KTPs to Elderly in Nursing Home

South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-agency distributed 44 e-KTPs (electronic ID cards) to residents of Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 3 Nursing Home, Jalan Margaguna Raya, Gandaria Selatan, Urban Village, Cilandak.

South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Abdul Haris mentioned, by having e-KTP, elderly who live at this nursing home now can easily take care of their population documents, such as Social Security Card (KJS).  

"We use door-to-door method to ensure the elderly in nursing home can have a clear status," he mentioned.

Long Holiday, South Jakarta Dukcapil Receives 4,107 Applications

According to him, elderly who live at nursing house tend to be classified as displaced people. Most of them don't have family to care for them, thus they need to have e-KTP.

"Gradually, we will also distribute e-KTPs to other social houses," he asserted.
