South Jakarta Mayor Marullah Matali, took his time to monitor the dredging process of mud sediment at the embung (artificial lake) on Jalan Kemang Selatan XII, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, Cilandak.
He said the embung located on the land belongs to the Park and Urban Forest Agency was made to handle the overflowing waters of Krukut River when it rained.

He explained the embung was not maximally accommodating the water anymore due to mud. To dredge it, his side had alerted two heavy equipment and targeted to finish it in early December.
"By so we hope the Kemang Selatan XII can be free from puddles," he hoped.
