Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Cases as of November 6

The number of people tested last week has reached 55,411

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of November 6.

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 10,585 specimens. 8,468 of them were to diagnose new cases with 672 positive and 7,796 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 55,411, while 125,422 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Friday (11/6).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 7,905 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 369. As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 110,083 cases.

Of these cases, 99,830 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 90.7% and 2,348 people died with a death rate of 2.1%, while Indonesia's death rate was 3.4%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 8.7%, while Indonesia was 8.2%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.  

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSSB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.

Here are the things that need to be done in daily activities amid the pandemic:

1. Stay home if not urgent

2. Always run 3M rules: (Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (maintaining physical distancing)

3. All activities permitted to operate must be within a maximum capacity of 50% and strictly adhere to health protocols

4. Remind others to always implement health protocols
