Here are Free Rabies Vaccination Schedules in West Jakarta

Jakarta Government through Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency provides free rabies vaccination for Jakarta residents who have pets.

People who have pets can visit us for registration at the designated vaccination location

In West Jakarta, free rabies vaccination is carried out in several areas on November 16-19, 2020.

West Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Iwan Indriyanto conveyed, there is no limit to the maximum number of pets that can get free rabies vaccination.

"People who have pets can visit us for registration at the designated vaccination location," he said, Monday (11/16).

Rabies vaccination service is opened from 9 AM until finish. He reminded pets owners to ensure animals that will be vaccinated are old enough, at least 4 months old at the time, healthy, not pregnant or breast-feeding.

"After being vaccinated, animal usually will have a fever. It often occurs for several hours or it could take days until its condition returns to normal," he explained.

For minimizing reactions after vaccination, he explained, animals should be given adequate food and drink, shouldn't be allowed to leave the house or travel, and not be bathed for one week.
