7, 946 Animals Vaccinated in East Jakarta

Until November 10, East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency has given rabies vaccination to 7,946 animals with potential to transmit rabies.

East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency's Animals Husbandry and Animals Health Section Head, Irma Budiany targeted to give vaccine to 7,000 animals this year. Until November, her side has exceeded the target by giving vaccine to 7,946 animals or 114 percent.

"Although we have exceeded the target, we will continue this rabies vaccination program until December as our effort to ensure East Jakarta free from rabies," she stated, Thursday (11/12).

In details, as many as 583 animals had been vaccinated in Matraman, 888 animals in Jatinegara, 713 animals in Pulogadung, 1,151 animals in Duren Sawit, 565 animals in Cakung, 1,062 animals in Makasar, 898 animals in Kramat Jati, and 433 animals in Cipayung.

"Next, 1,027 animals in Ciracas Sub-district, and 626 animals in Pasar Rebo Sub-district," she mentioned.
