Ahead Christmas and New Year, Food Station Ensures Rice Stock Safe

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya ensured rice stock is safe ahead of Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021.

As Jakarta Government's BUMD in food sector, we have ensured rice stocks and other food stocks are sufficient to fulfill residents needs

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya's Goods Procurement Section Head, Ferry Fardiansyah admitted, his side has prepared food commodities ahead of Christmas and New Year.

"As Jakarta Government's BUMD in food sector, we have ensured rice stocks and other food stocks are sufficient to fulfill residents needs," he asserted, Thursday (11/26).

Not only rice, his side also ensured other food stocks are safe, such as cooking oil, sugar, eggs, fish, and others.

Some time ago, his side had also attended coordination meeting ahead of Christmas and New Year 2021 at Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency Office to ensure food commodities were safe enough to fulfill Jakartans needs.

"Coordination meeting is held to anticipate increase in basic commodities prices, especially ahead of religious holiday and new year," he mentioned.

As reported on PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya's official website as of November 25, 2020, the initial rice stock at Cipinang Rice Central Market (PIBC) reached 32,620 tons. While rice stock in reached 2,817 tons, stock out 2,728, and final stock 32,709 tons.
