Thousand Islands PMI Receives Assistance for Handling COVID-19

The Thousand Islands Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), received the fund injection worth Rp 100 million for handling COVID-19 from PT Pertamina, on Wednesday (12/9).

We will optimize this assistance for the program to contain the spread of COVID-19 by spraying disinfectants as needed

Thousand Islands PMI Chairperson Natsir Sabara expressed his gratitude for the assistance

"We will optimize this assistance for the program to contain the spread of COVID-19 by spraying disinfectants as needed," he expressed.

2,063 Bansos Packages Distributed to Residents in Wijaya Kusuma Urban Village

His side also planned to assist the local government in providing hand washing facilities, masks, soap, hand sanitizers, and socialization of COVID-19 prevention to the public.

In the meantime, PT Pertamina Corporate Social Responsibility Manager Dian Hapsari Firasati uttered, the assistance provided was PT Pertamina's CSR program.

"We agree and participate in the disinfectant spraying program done by the Thousand Islands PMI. Hopefully this assistance can be used well," he stated.
