Starting Today, Transjakarta Operates Until 8 PM

From December 18, 2020 until January 8, 2021, PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) operates from 5 AM to 8 PM.

Transjakarta will serve customers from 5 AM to 8 PM

PT. Transjakarta Operational Director, Prasetia Budi conveyed, this policy was carried out based on Gubernatorial Instruction (Ingub) No. 64/2020 on Implementation of Community Activities to Prevent COVID-19 in Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021 Holidays.

"Transjakarta will serve customers from 5 AM to 8 PM. It is applied to all our reguler services, both BRT, non-BRT, and Mikrotrans," he mentioned, Friday (12/18).

Meanwhile, service provided for health workers will be extended to 9 PM to 11 PM from previously operating at 10 PM-11 PM.

During the period, his side will not reduce the operating routes. Transjakarta will continue to serve customers with total 145 active routes during Transitional Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period.

"In accordance to Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s direction, Transjakarta passengers are limited to maximum 50 percent of normal capacity, both in bus shelters and on the bus," he said.

For information, during Transitional PSBB period, Transjakarta limited number of passengers to maximum 60 people for articulated bus, 30 people for medium bus, 15 people for small bus, and 5 people for Mikrotrans.
