The Jakarta Information Commission (KI) held a webinar entitled "Efforts to Protect Human Rights (HAM) through Information Openness".
The webinar, which was opened by the Jakarta Information Commission Vice Chairman Harminus, is a momentum for human rights day, which aims to increase public awareness of the importance of public information disclosure and its correlation with universal human rights.

At the same time, Jakarta KI Commissioner Aang Muhdi Gozali as the organizer of the webinar from the Advocacy, Socialization and Education Sector added that his party would elaborate on various ideas and strategic roles in mainstreaming public information disclosure.
"We are about to continue to perfect efforts to respect and protect human rights, especially in Jakarta through increasing public access and participation to public information in various human rights cases," he explained.
In the meantime, Komnas HAM period 2007-2012 Commissioner Jhony Nelson Simanjuntak, revealed that the state was obliged to meet and protect the right to public information continuously without discrimination.
