Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi, released the departure of the Fatahillah archipelago remote island vessel (KM JPTN) from the Pier 16, Ancol, North Jakarta. The vessel is used as a floating clinic that will provide free health services for residents on Lancang and Untung Jawa islands, South Thousand Islands sub-district.
He said, it is a social assistance in the health sector from the company PT Kimia Farma, which is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in collaboration with the Al-Quran Waqf Agency (BWA).

While, BWA Agency Chief Executive Officer Heru Binawan added it would operate from December 21-23.
"We have prepared two general practitioners and five paramedics to serve the people on the two islands for free," he stated.
