Preventing COVID-19 transmission, South Thousand Islands Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas) distributed free masks to tourists and local residents in the region.
Until now, around 13 thousand masks have been distributed to three urban villages in South Thousand Islands
South Thousand Islands Puskesmas Head, Ilmi Tri Indarto conveyed, those masks were supplied by Health Ministry with total 20 thousand masks.
Regency Encourages Tourists in Thousand Islands to Comply with Health Protocols
"We distribute it gradually since December 23, 2020. Until now, around 13 thousand masks have been distributed to three urban villages in South Thousand Islands," he informed, Monday (12/28).
In distributing masks, his side got assistance from apparatuses in urban villages, sub-district, Satpol PP and police officers.
"With this assistance, we hope both residents and tourists can be more disciplined in complying health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he stated.
