KIR Service at Ujung Menteng UP PKB Temporarily Diverted to Other Units

Ujung Menteng Motor Vehicle Testing Management Unit (UP PKB), Cakung, East Jakarta, temporarily diverted the service to Pulogadung UP PKB, Kedaung UP PKB and Cilincing UP PKB, since the area is closed on Tuesday (12/29) and Wednesday (12/30).

For vehicles that have paid and booked online will be diverted to Pulogadung, Kedaung Angke and Cilincing UP PKB or you can wait until Monday (1/4) at Ujung Menteng UP PKB

Ujung Menteng UP PKB Head, Priyanto said, service is diverted after 8 employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19 and one of them died. Service at Ujung Menteng UP PKB will return to normal on Monday (1/4).

"For vehicles that have paid and booked online will be diverted to Pulogadung, Kedaung Angke and Cilincing UP PKB or you can wait until Monday (1/4) at Ujung Menteng UP PKB," he informed, on Tuesday (12/29).

Ujung Menteng UP PKB Unit Head, Suratman added, when vehicle testing (KIR) service is diverted to other UP PKB units, all employees will work at home, except security guards at the office.

"Meanwhile we will disinfect the office area independently. We have coordinated with East Jakarta PMI to carry out thorough disinfectant spraying until the next few days," he mentioned.

According to him, 63 employees in the office had undergone swab test at Cempaka Putih Hospital, Central Jakarta, on Monday (12/28) afternoon. The result will be known on Wednesday (12/30) afternoon. Previously, his employees had also been swabbed twice and it resulted 8 employees were suspected positive for COVID-19.

"One of 8 employees who tested positive for COVID-19 has died and the other seven are undergoing isolation in hospitals," he conveyed.
