During Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period, Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency opened registration for Jakarta Worker Card (PKJ) for residents.

KPJ is only available for Jakarta residents

Jakarta Nakertrans and Energy Agency Head, Andri Yansyah said, registration steps were made easier to reduce crowds during Covid-19 pandemic.  

First, residents must prepare their ID card (KTP), family card, NPWP, the latest salary slip, and statement letter of being active in a company. Scan all of those documents and make one file in PDF format.

"KPJ is only available for Jakarta residents," he added, Tuesday (12/29).

After all data is made into one PDF file, complete the identity form which downloaded from bit.ly/formatkpj, also inform your single identity number (NIK) and children's school (if you have children at school age). Then save it in excel.

Next, email the completed identity form and scanned documents file to kartupekerja.dkijakarta@yahoo.com and cc hiskesja.nakertrans@jakarta.go.id with email subject 'pengajuankpj_nama perusahaan'.

The last step, inform Nakertrans and Energy Agency that you have emailed the registration form through website bit.ly/daftarkpj and fill in the form according to the amount submitted.

According to him, KPJ is very beneficial, because people can use this card to ride Transjakarta bus for free, become Jakgrosir member, get cheap food subsidies, get affirmation line quotas for KPJ recipient's children at school admission, and ensure recipient's children to get Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus according to the provisions.
