323 Janitors Deployed for New Year’s Eve

East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Environmental deploys 323 janitors in order to handle New Year’s Eve garbage, Thursday (12/31).

Road convoy is also forbidden. It is hope the garbage volume will decrease

Sub-department Head’s Caretaker, Syaripudin, admitted the janitors are still deployed to anticipate garbage during New Year’s Eve eventhough crowd is forbidden.

“Everyone must obey the health protocol, including business, entertainment, and tourism. Road convoy is also forbidden. It is hope the garbage volume will decrease,” he admitted.

487 Joint Personnel Alerted to Cast Out Convoys

His side wants Jakarta is free of garbage until the New Year’s Eve.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Environment Head Herwansyah, explained those 323 janitors are deployed at Pasar Rebo intersection, PGC intersection, TMII, Jalan Pemuda, Jalan Pramuka, East Flood Canal, Jalan Inspeksi Kalimalang, and so on.

Not only janitors, his side also deploys 20 trucks, 27 motor-vehicle, 23 pick up van, and 12 street sweepers.

“700 trash bags are also prepared,” he closed.
