East Jakarta Gulkarmat Conducts 3M Socialization in 3,246 Locations

In April - December 2020, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has socialized 3M health protocol (wearing mask, washing hands, and maintaining safe distance) in 3,246 locations.

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Muchtar Zakaria stated, his side were not only socializing health protocol, but also fire handling and prevention to the residents in 10 sub-districts in East Jakarta.

"Socialization is conducted to break the chain of COVID-19 spread and as our effort to minimize fire during the pandemic," he mentioned, Monday (1/4).

Socialization was conducted using speakers in worship places and collector roads.

"Socialization will continue in January or during pandemic in Jakarta," he added.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Prevention Section Head, Edi Parwoko explained, socialization was conducted in 161 locations in April, 561 locations in May, 599 locations in June, 525 locations in July, 307 locations in August, 278 locations in September, 302 locations in October, 269 locations in November, and 244 locations in December.

"From total 3,204 locations, socialization is conducted in 1,024 collector roads and 2,218 worship places, and four educational facilities," he said.

For conducting socialization, his side deployed 6,658 personnel, 164 cars, and 4,144 motorbikes.

"We expect people to be more disciplined in complying health protocol and be aware of fire," he closed.
