Dirty Channels and Gutters along Jalan DI Panjaitan Being Cleaned

This is done to anticipate puddles and floods in the rainy season

Connecting channels and gutters alongside Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta are being cleaned.

Water Resources (SDA) Task Force Coordinator Tamrizal said it had been carried out since mid-December 2020.

It was precisely conducted from Patria Park Hotel until intersection of Jalan Basuki Rahmat by sending 56 personnel.

"This is done to anticipate puddles and floods in the rainy season," he said, Tuesday (1/5).

To speed up it, those 56 personnel were divided into four teams and conduct the cleaning manually.

"In total we clean up 125 gutters on the left and right sides of Jalan DI Panjaitan," he closed.
