As many as 100 joint personnel and local residents at RT 02/12, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung, East Jakarta participated in flood handling simulation today.

This flood handling simulation was initiated by Lubang Buaya Urban Village through collaboration with Jakarta BPBD and East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency.
Lubang Buaya Urban Village Head, Dede Syaipulah mentioned, participants were educated how to evacuate flood victims using inflatable boats, inner tubes, and ropes.

Joint personnel who participated in this simulation were consisted of urban village/sub-district, Satpol PP, PPSU, Gulkarmat Sub-agency, BPBD, TP PKK, TNI/Police, East Jakarta Baznas Bazis.
"As well as RT/RW administrators, FKDM, LMK and others," he added.
East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Prevention Section head, Edi Parwoko mentioned, his side deployed one inflatable boat and 8 personnel in this simulation.
"Inflatable boat which used for simulation is given to RT 02/12, Lubang Buaya as Disaster Resilient Village," he conveyed.
Jakarta BPBD's Prevention Section head, Riyan Sarsono stated, the simulation was carried out by complying 3M health protocol (wearing mask, washing hands, and maintaining safe distance).
During the pandemic, flood handling must be conducted according to the COVID-19 prevention health protocols.
"We hope this activity is not only just a simulation, but can be realized well when disaster occurs. Everyone has their roles, so they don't rely on one another," he closed.
