The Block C building of Central Jakarta Mayor Office, Jalan Tanah Abang 1, Gambir, shut down starting on Thursday (1/7) until Monday (1/11) after a positive case of Covid-19 was found. This condition forces employees to work from home.
"10 employees were infected with COVID-19 and are now undergoing a self-isolation in the hospital," expressed Central Jakarta Secretary, Iqbal Akbarudin, Thursday (1/7).

In the building, there were four work units, namely Satpol PP, Cipta Karya Spatial Planning and Land Affairs (CKTRP), Regional Financial Management Agency and Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency.
He told, the Covid-19 team also carried out tracing efforts on other employees who served in the four SKPDs in the building.
"Despite face-to-face services are closed, employees still work from home," he concluded.
