Block C Building of Central Jakarta Mayor Office Closed After New Covid-19 Cases

10 employees were infected with COVID-19 and are now undergoing a self-isolation in the hospital

The Block C building of Central Jakarta Mayor Office, Jalan Tanah Abang 1, Gambir, shut down starting on Thursday (1/7) until Monday (1/11) after a positive case of Covid-19 was found. This condition forces employees to work from home.

"10 employees were infected with COVID-19 and are now undergoing a self-isolation in the hospital," expressed Central Jakarta Secretary,  Iqbal Akbarudin, Thursday (1/7).  

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Office Closed for Three Days

He explained all building rooms would be sprayed with disinfectant. In the building, there were four work units, namely Satpol PP, Cipta Karya Spatial Planning and Land Affairs (CKTRP), Regional Financial Management Agency and Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency.

He told, the Covid-19 team also carried out tracing efforts on other employees who served in the four SKPDs in the building.

"Despite face-to-face services are closed, employees still work from home," he concluded.
