Today, East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar together with Jakarta Social Agency Head, Irmansyah symbolically handed over Social Cash Assistance (BST) at SDN Cipinang Melayu 09 Pagi and SDN Cipinang Melayu 10 Pagi.

"Hopefully, BST can be put to good use," stated Muhammad Anwar, East Jakarta Mayor, on Tuesday (1/12).
According to him, BST is distributed by implementing health protocols for nine working days in 167 locations throughout 10 sub-districts in East Jakarta.

Jakarta Social Agency Head, Irmansyah mentioned that it is free of charge, from data verification process up to making Bank DKI accounts, saving books, and ATMs.
"BST comes from two sources, namely state budget (APBN) and Jakarta Government's City Budget (APBD)," he said.
On the other hand, Jakarta Social Agency's Social Welfare Development and Poverty Alleviation Division Head, Susana Budi Susilowati added, BST recipients will receive cash assistance Rp 300,000 each person.
Total BST in Jakarta Province reaches 1,805,216 BSTs, where 750,000 BSTs are from Social Ministry's APBN and 1,055,216 BSTs are from Jakarta's APBD.
"In detail, 532,295 BSTs for East Jakarta; 307,371 BSTs for North Jakarta; 356,371 BSTs for South Jakarta; 419,721 for West Jakarta; 183,895 BSTs for Central Jakarta; and 5,563 BSTs for Thousand Islands," he informed.
