Social Aid Injected to Persons with Disabilities in South and North Thousand Islands

Thanks to the central government, hopefully it may help ease their burden

Some 31 persons with disabilities in South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands, received social aid  for persons with disabilities (ASDP) from the Social Ministry (Kemensos).

South Thousand Islands Sub-district Head Angga Saputra said those beneficiaries were from Tidung Island (three persons) and Pari Island (28 persons).

"Thanks to the central government, hopefully it may help ease their burden," he expressed, Friday (12/25).

One of beneficiaries, Nurjanah admitted, she was happy and very helpful with the aid.

"I'm so happy, this is very helpful us amid the COVID-19 crisis," she expressed.

In the meantime, Thousand Islands Social Persons with Disabilities Coordinator Mahri added that similar aid was also distributed to four persons in North Thousand Islands.

"Each of them receive aid of two million rupiah for a year," he closed.
