North Jakarta Ensures to Apply Strict Health Protocols in Distributing BST

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Alhamdulillah Maulana Hakim monitored Social Cash Assistance (BST) distribution at SMKN 12 Jakarta, Tanjung Priok, on Monday (1/18).

BST distribution will be carried out in at least 160 locations in North Jakarta. His side ensured to apply strict health protocols during BST distribution in North Jakarta to prevent COVID-19 transmission, by checking body temperature, providing sinks in the entrance, controlling physical distance, and ensuring personnel and BST recipients to wear masks.

"Alhamdulillah, there is no problem in informing or inviting BST recipients. We ensure to apply 3M well to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted.

End of January, BST will Be Distributed in Central Jakarta

Previously, his side has sterilized locations for BST distribution by holding disinfectant spraying through coordination with North Jakarta PMI.

"Mayor emphasizes for not letting BST into new cluster of COVID-19. It means BST distribution must comply with health protocols, including monitoring by officers," he stated.

North Jakarta Social Sub-agency (Sudinsos) Head, Aji Antoko mentioned, BST will be distributed within 6 days, on January 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, and 30, at 09:00-15:00. Total BST recipients in North Jakarta reached 229,570 residents.

"Around 40 thousand residents have received BST today. BST will be distributed until January 30, 2021," he said.
