13,080 Health Workers in North Jakarta to Receive COVID-19 Vaccines

The COVID-19 vaccination is given to 13,080 health workers in North Jakarta.

Our target is to finish the vaccination in the next two weeks

North Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Yudi Dimyati stated, health workers who receive COVID-19 vaccination are those who work at health facilities, such as hospitals (RSUDs), health centers (puskesmas), and health clinics.

"In the first phase, vaccination is held from January 14, 2021. Our target is to finish the vaccination in the next two weeks," he informed, Wednesday (1/20).

His side deployed around 200 vaccinators spread across 84 health facilities in North Jakarta. He ensured that no health workers experienced serious side effects or adverse event following immunization (KIPI) such as seizures and fainting. So far, health workers have only experienced minor side effect and they are still in normal condition.

He also ensured that each vaccine recipient's health progress was monitored. Vaccine recipients who experience side effects can visit the nearest health facility or KIPI referral hospitals in Jakarta.

"We have RSUD Cilincing, RSUD Tanjung Priok, and RSUD Koja for referral hospitals in North Jakarta, including with the teams," he mentioned.

He hopes COVID-19 vaccination can run well.

"We hope everything goes well and all health workers who meet the requirements can be vaccinated," he asserted.
