Central Jakarta Satpol PP Gives Sanction to 9,144 PSBB Violators

In January 11-25, 2021 period, Central Jakarta Satpol PP together with TNI and Police officers netted 9,144 residents who didn't wear masks when doing activities outside.

We carry out unannounced inspection in 5,121 business places on January 11-25

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Bernard Tambunan conveyed, from total 9,144 violators, his side given social work sanction to 9,107 violators and administrative fines to 37 violators that reached Rp 7.85 million in total.

"Our personnel hold Mask Operation routinely every day, start from urban village level, sub-district, to city level," he stated, Monday (1/25).

Two Weeks, 4,118 PSBB Violators in East Jakarta Sanctioned

Not only holding Mask Operation, but his side also monitored health protocols implementation in 2,034 business places and workplaces in 8 sub-districts.

"We give written warnings to 113 business places and workplaces because they violate health protocols. Such as not limiting number of employees who work at office to maximum 25 percent, not maintaining safe distance, and not wearing masks," he informed.

Temporary closure sanction were also imposed on 75 cafes and restaurants that violated health protocols.

"We carry out unannounced inspection in 5,121 business places on January 11-25. As the result, temporary closure sanction is given to 75 violators and written sanction to 80 violators, while the remaining 4,966 business places are safe," he mentioned.
