Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 19,501 specimens. From that amount, 17,982 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 3,060 positive results and 14,922 negative results.

For information, 248,861 PCR test have been carried out per 1 million population. City Improves Health Facilities for Handling COVID-19Number of positive cases increased by 206 cases thus in total it reached 23,389 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated). While for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 266,244 cases. From that amount, 238,395 people recovered with recovery rate of 89.5% and 4,254 people died with mortality rate of 1.6%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.8%.
For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 15.6%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 10.1%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.

Jakarta Satpol PP will give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
Based on Jakarta Satpol PP's daily report as of January 29, 2021 which submitted at 19:00, Satpol PP had caught 2,776 residents who didn't wear masks. From that number, officers imposed social work sanction to 2,737 violators and administrative fines to 39 violators with total Rp 6,150,000.
They also monitored 449 restaurants and cafes. Three of them were sanctioned for temporary suspension, 41 were dismissed and given written warning, and no violation in the remaining 405 restaurants.
Satpol PP also carried out health protocols monitoring in 429 workplaces, business places, and industries. As the result, 1 of them were given sanction to stop their activities for 3x24 hours, 65 were given written warnings, and no violation in the remaining 363 places.
