Matraman Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force Coordinator Agus Sutono said, the dredging had been ongoing since last week. It was carried out to minimize flooding when rain poured.

"Personnel have to work hard to transport mud up to 50 to 100 centimeters thick," he explained.
To transport the drained mud, he uttered, his party prepared 500 plastic sacks every day.
"It is targeted to be complete in two weeks," he stated.
