PPSU Personnel Handle Inundation on Jl Panjang Green Garden

PPSU personnel handled inundation in front of McDonald on Jalan Panjang Green Garden RW 03, Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Kebon Timur, West Jakarta.

After they cleaned garbage and mud sedimentation around the channel, inundation gradually recedes

Kedoya Utara Urban Village Head, Tubagus Masarul Iman mentioned, five PPSU personnel were deployed to clean garbage that caught in net of channel that leads to stilling basin.

"In the location, there are nets made of iron to filter water from garbage before entering stilling basin. They clean mud and garbage which stuck on the net. Alhamdulillah, now inundation has receded," he mentioned, Wednesday (2/3).

According to him, inundation had appeared since morning as high as 30 centimeters due to high intensity rain since last night.

"After they cleaned garbage and mud sedimentation around the channel, inundation gradually recedes. This condition is worsen because it is located in basin area. Now it has receded completely," he explained.

Since it has receded, road users can return to pass the road safely and comfortably.

"We prepare 1 portable pump on the location to drain water from stilling basin to Sekretaris River," he stated.
