Central Jakarta Government will build 2 stilling basins on Jalan Suprapto, Sumur Batu Urban Village, Kemayoran.
Both stilling basins have a function to collect rainwater before it flows to the river
Central Jakarta Acting Mayor (Plh), Irwandi assessed that stilling basin construction is a solution to overcome inundation that often occurs on that location when heavy rain falls. Two stilling basins will be built on state-owned land which located between slow lane and banks of Utan Kayu River.
"Both stilling basins have a function to collect rainwater before it flows to the river," he conveyed, Tuesday (2/2).

His side is optimistic that after stilling basin construction is completed, there will be no inundation and flood on Jalan Suprapto.
"Flood and inundation problems on Jalan Suprapto will be resolved by building stilling basins," he stated.
