Inundation on Jl Jelambar Baru Handled by SDA Personnel

Water Resources (SDA) Unit personnel were deployed to handle inundation on Jl Jelambar Baru, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. Currently, inundation remains 5 centimeters high.

Grogol Petamburan Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Agus said, inundation reached 25 centimeters high by this morning. But at noon, it recedes into 5 centimeters.

According to him, inundation was occurred because the road located in basin area and exacerbated by large amount of garbage carried by water flow in channel.

"We deploy 20 SDA Unit personnel to clean up garbage carried away by water flow. Now, road users can pass the road," he informed, Wednesday (2/3).

As an anticipation, his side also provided two stationary pumps on Jl. Latumenten/Borobudur that located on the right and left sides of Grogol River.

"So far, pumps can also operate well," he closed.
